BUILDTECH SOURCING was engaged by the inventor and manufacturer of a new, patented wall panel to foundation connection device. Tasked to provide guidance on the product launch into the PCI Architectural / Structural wall panel segment, BUILDTECH SOURCING provided a variety of services including: Website creation assistance and sourcing of developer, digital and print marketing material review, trade show booth development and strategy and strategic client introductions.

PRECAST PLANT DESIGN

The BUILDTECH SOURCING team was brought on board to provide a variety of services for a new greenfield precast concrete manufacturing plant in Texas. BUILDTECH has provided market research, business strategy, conceptual facility design, equipment recommendations, pre-construction services, and Digital Marketing & Market Development consultation.

ARCHITECTURAL PRECAST

BUILDTECH SOURCING was engaged by an Architectural Precast producer to provide a variety of services for a unique project on The Ohio State University Campus. BUILDTECH provided pre-construction services to the New York Based principal architect regarding color, finish, and texture, as well as refining the architect's original precast look to accommodate precast production limitations.  BUILDTECH also provided custom formwork design and procurement and On-Site Project Management.

LIVE FIRE SHOOT HOUSE

MILITARY APPLICATION

When a specialized military contractor needed a solution to a problem, BUILDTECH SOURCING provided complete new product development services from Concept to Patent. The new precast product allowed the client to offer an advanced Live Fire Shoot House design to the government that none of their competitors could provide, thus giving them a significant tactical advantage in the market in the U.S. as well as overseas.

CORROSSION RESISTANT LINER FOR PRECAST MANHOLES and TANKS

SEAMAN CORPORATION, a specialty industrial coated fabric company based in Ohio had identified a potential new application for one of its products. BUILDTECH SOURCING was engaged to provide new product development services from Concept through Patent. BUILDTECH SOURCING provided technical guidance including rapid prototyping and field trials, branding and marketing expertise, and was a major contributor to website development and launch.

EXPORTING TO THE U.S.

A successful and well-established Mexican precast company needed to know if they could effectively pursue sales in the United States.  

BUILDTECH SOURCING provided a market study as well as facilitated introductions to potential buyers.  The client determined that it would be possible for their precast business to enter the U.S. market and proceeded to do so immediately.

GOING TO THE MIDWEST

When a Mexico City, Mexico client was investigating bringing their Architectural precast concrete products further into the U.S. market, BUILDTECH SOURCING managed the analysis and evaluation of the business opportunity. In this case, after review of the study prepared by BUILDTECH SOURCING, the client determined that it would not be profitable for their precast business to push deeper into the U.S. market at that time. Timing can be everything.​

MARKET EXPANSION - STEEL REINFORCEMENT 

NEW  STEEL FIBER TECHNOLOGY

A NEW MICRO-FIBER

The little things can make all the difference.  Working with BUILDTECH SOURCING this client introduced its corrosion-resistant reinforcing product to new customers accessed through our extensive connection database. BUILDTECH SOURCING also facilitated laboratory testing and precast product feasibility analysis. The product gained acceptance as a replacement for conventional rebar and wire mesh in CIP concrete and precast applications.

Protecting your interests as a major Structural Precast concrete supplier on a unique and complex $17,000,000 project that is 350 miles from your plant is a challenging task.  BUILDTECH SOURCING was brought on the team to provide full-time on-site representation for the precast producer and its erection subcontractor. This job also included heavy coordination with BAKER CONCRETE the cast in place concrete provider on the project.
